Ernest Jones was seen by shoppers as one of several mid-market jewellers with little to make them stand out. Our task was to ensure that Ernest Jones becomes a destination for people shopping for a significant gift at Christmas. However, Ernest Jones was seen to offer identical jewellery to the competition, so the advertising focused on highlighting the exclusivity of Ernest Jones.
