Very’s 3 for 2 campaign is live, and so fancy.
The challenge? Communicate Very’s 3 for 2 offer – which is mix and match across their categories – in a compelling, different and stand out way.
Across all media, the campaign aims to create a relationship between seemingly unrelated products, a story that could only have been written by Very, because it is only possible due to the three products coming together.
Think: Optimus Prime confessing his love for My Little Pony, by presenting her with a golden heart shaped Lipsy perfume. Who said love at first sight was a thing of the past?
Through of a lot of hard work we have a campaign that we are really happy with. Arthur Woodcrofts’ photography gives the inanimate products a personality, and director Anthony Farquar-Smith, and his team at Not-to-Scale created a stop-motion animation 20” TVC that is characterful and charming. The film shows a diva My Little Pony – we call her Beyonce– who is accompanied by her ‘glam squad’ (Toni and Guy hair care products) before she begins belting out ‘Fancy’ by Iggy Azalea in front of her Goodmans speaker.
The TV campaign aired during the XFactor, on ITV1 on 8th October, followed by further spots across the network for the rest of the month, and is accompanied by a volume of other media such as, OOH, DOOH, VOD, Social and online display.
