Make Your Mark

Everyone dreams of running a pub they can make their own, and Star Pubs & Bars gives them the freedom to do exactly that.

Our brief was to raise Star’s profile and show how its leased & tenanted model (L&T) lets licensees shape a pub around their personality, backed by expert support.

We created a content campaign following three celebrities as they learnt the ropes and hosted their own pub nights.

From Farmer Will’s Wild West evening to Nicola Adams’ women’s sports pub to comedian Helen Bauer’s board games bar, each film revealed the highs, lows and hands-on help from Star’s Business Development Managers (BDM)s.

Working with in-house Apostle Studios, we created three long-form films as well as teaser trailers and follow-up interviews.

The result was an engaging year-long content campaign that will inspire the next generation of publicans to make their mark.
